Responsibilities
- Fabricate custom signs using hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment, ensuring accuracy and quality standards are met.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide fabrication and installation processes.
- Install signs on various surfaces including walls, ceilings, and exteriors using appropriate hardware and techniques.
- Operate heavy equipment when necessary for large or complex installations, maintaining safety protocols at all times.
- Conduct site inspections to assess conditions, verify measurements, and ensure proper preparation before installation.
- Perform finishing tasks such as caulking, trimming, painting, or restoration to achieve a polished look.
- Collaborate with project managers and construction teams to coordinate schedules and ensure timely completion of projects.
Requirements
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment operation related to fabrication and installation tasks.
- Knowledge of construction management principles including safety procedures and site inspection protocols.
- Ability to work outdoors or at various job sites while maintaining attention to detail and safety standards.
