About the KX Lab:

The KX Lab will be the first-ever fully transparent, community-minded high-tech footwear manufacturing facility in Los Angeles. Focused specifically on knit footwear and apparel, the 36,000SF facility combines production, R&D, showroom and retail all under one roof. The goal of this radical new model for manufacturing is to bring consumers, products and the people that make them closer together.

The KX Lab will be the Company's first US factory, a prototype for larger facilities currently being planned in cities across the country and around the world. Construction began February 2021 and the expected date of opening is Fall 2021.

Job Overview:

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Supply Chain Manager to join our team. This person will be responsible for planning, implementing and monitoring the company’s overall supply chain strategy in order to maximize efficiency and productivity. Key Job Functions

  • Plan and implement the overall supply chain strategy
  • Collaborate with Sales/Design, Operations, and Customer Service teams
  • Work with finance, sales, and manufacturing team to determine best vendors and distributors
  • Will communicate and report with all levels of management within the organization
  • Maintain a departmental budget
  • Source equipment
  • Analyze existing supply chain for inefficiencies and make recommendations
  • Ensure that especially large and/or complex shipments arrive safely
  • Coordinate customs clearance on imports and exports
  • Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency
  • Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements
  • Coach and train the Supply Chain Planner
  • Supervise logistics to ensure the smooth run of operations
  • Review inventory and logistics reports for accuracy
  • Recommend updates to equipment and software that will improve supply flow and delivery time
  • Liaise and negotiate with suppliers, manufacturers, retailers and consumers
  • Implement customer requirements for special orders
  • Guarantee compliance with policies and procedures for health and safety

Key Qualifications:

  • Must be Bi-Lingual
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing environment, preferably footwear manufacturing
  • Hands on experience with logistics software and excellent ERP/MRP skills
  • Must be able to complete HAZMAT training as well as OSHA30 within 90 days of joining the team
  • Excellent computer skills including advanced Excel, cloud-based platforms (IE-Google Cloud)
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year

  • Los Angeles, CA 90012: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

  • ERP systems: 5 years (Required)
  • Supply chain: 5 years (Required)
  • International Sourcing: 4 years (Preferred)
  • Yarn and textile: 2 years (Preferred)
