What are the responsibilities and job description for the Kwik-Wall Illinois Project Manager position at Kwik-Wall?
Position Summary:
The Kwik-Wall Illinois Lead Installer will perform and lead installations of operable walls in Central Illinois. This includes bid jobs and private installations. The Installer will also perform service work for other operable walls in the Central Illinois region.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Install panels and tracks of Kwik-Wall products, ensuring safety and quality are maintained throughout the entire process
- Work with General Contractors, specifically, Project Managers and Superintendents to ensure that tracks and panels are installed in accordance with their timelines
- Coordinate with superintendents on getting panels into building for installation
- Work with Marketing Coordinator to provide take-off forms for private jobs allowing for quotes to end users
- Schedule with the production team or managers to ensure employees are taken to job sites for installations when available
- Providing demonstrations for General Contractors and end users to show how the product works
- Troubleshooting Kwik-Wall and other operable wall products to provide service work
- Assist with Installation Training for Kwik-Wall distributors
- Encourage customers to invest in vital repairs or replacements to panels and track systems
- Bring any field issues to the warranty meeting to be discussed by the warranty committee
- Assist Technical Service Manager in distributor installation training when relevant and available
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- In-depth knowledge of Kwik-Wall products and processes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to reach goals by working with various departments, functions and customers
- Proven leadership, facilitating and coaching abilities with strong customer service orientation
- Ability to troubleshoot products in a field environment and fix issues associated
- Ability to read and understand AutoCad drawings and apply information to installation or service work at hand
- Willingness to learn ERP system to pull production schedules
