Pay Range: $19.53 to $27.33
Actual pay will be based on various factors, such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, proficiency for the role, and internal equity. Full Time Loss Prevention Coordinator - La Crosse, WI: The Enterprise Risk Department is responsible for supporting our 800 retail locations in Loss Prevention. We are looking for a highly motivated, hard-working and change orientated person who is wanting to start their career path by joining our team.
Job Purpose:
As a Loss Prevention Specialist, you will be responsible for investigating known or suspect internal theft, external theft, and vendor fraud.
Regular tasks include:
- Analyze shrink reports and inventory audits to pinpoint areas of loss
- Conduct investigations into losses at retail which are the result of either internal, external, or vendor theft/fraud
- Consult and communicate with law enforcement/court officials to help ensure company’s interest are effectively communicated and protected from legal exposure
- Complete information/case reports
- Assist and follow-up to internal and external theft investigations
- CCTV video research
- Communicate Loss Prevention policies, procedures, and methodologies to all stores/departments
- Prepare evidence for Law Enforcement
Qualifications:
- Maintaining a high level of confidentiality is a must
- Educational background normally attained through the completion of a High School Diploma
- Minimum of 3-year general retail experience is a plus
- Exposure to internal/external theft investigations
- Ability to operate CCTV hardware and software
- Ability to communicate with individuals at all levels within the organization and out
- Excellent typing and 10 key punch skills; strong written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks while meeting deadlines
- Capable of being productive with minimal supervision
- Self-motivated in learning new skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Retail or Customer Service experience is a plus
- Possess a valid driver’s license with an excellent driving record
