Pay Range: $27.24 to $40.86
Actual pay will be based on various factors, such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, proficiency for the role, and internal equity. Kwik Trip, Inc.’s Kitchens department is looking for a well-rounded Maintenance Technician.
Job Description:
As a Maintenance Tech, you will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting a variety of modern automated process systems in our vastly changing Kitchen’s facility.
Regular tasks include:
- Perform preventative maintenance procedures
- Communicate with operators and management team
- Ensure day to day productivity and operational efficiencies are achieved
- Perform emergency maintenance as required
- Coordinate with vendors for necessary repairs
- Inspect facilities and equipment on a regular basis
Qualifications:
- 2 years automation experience and/or training
- Experience working with Allen-Bradley PLC’s and supporting control devices
- Strong industrial electronic and mechanical background
- Ability to work well alone and as part of a team
- Strong interpersonal, written and oral communications skills
- Accurate/detail oriented
- Willing to learn and perform a variety of job tasks
- Ability to prioritize, delegate, and manage multiple projects
- Ability to support and meet department deadlines
- Possess good problem-solving skills
- Ability to read, understand and interpret schematics and manuals
- Good working knowledge of hand and power tools
- Welding experience is a plus
- All candidates must be able to work safely and within food safety and regulatory standards
- Knowledge of standard concepts, practices and procedures in the food industry is a plus
Physical qualifications: stand/walk for up to 10 hours per shift; bend/reach/twist and stoop/kneel/crouch frequently; lift/carry 50 pounds frequently; lift/carry up to 80 pounds occasionally.
Work Schedule:
- This is a full-time position on 3rd shift
- $2/hr for working the hours between 8p-6a M-Th night
- $4/hr for working hours between Friday 8p to Monday 6a and on top of that the $2 for overnight
