Pay Range: $111,303.92 to $166,956.14
Actual pay will be based on various factors, such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, proficiency for the role, and internal equity. In addition to base pay, Kwik Trip gives 40% of pre-tax profits back to our coworkers with bonuses ranging from 8-12% of each coworker’s gross annual wage depending on company profitability and offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, 401k, paid time off, and more.

Kwik Trip is seeking an Applications Architect to design and implement software solutions that align with our technology strategy and business requirements. In this role, you’ll lead architectural design, guide development teams, and ensure seamless integration of systems while driving innovation and maintaining compliance with industry standards.
- Design and develop software architecture solutions that meet business and technical requirements
- Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies, and processes for optimal product quality
- Integrate new technologies into existing systems and oversee implementation
- Provide technical leadership and mentor junior architects and developers
- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement software solutions
- Communicate architectural decisions and strategies to stakeholders
- Create and maintain documentation for architectural solutions
- Ensure compliance with data security, privacy guidelines, and industry standards
- Stay current with emerging technologies and drive innovation
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field preferred
- 8 years of experience in software development and architecture
- Strong understanding of system architecture principles and best practices
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies, programming languages, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with architecture modeling tools and familiarity with microservices architecture
