Our Support Center located in La Crosse WI, has an opportunity for a full time Salesforce Developer.
In this role you will work with business partners to realize the full capability of the Salesforce ecosystem. You will be responsible for design and development of customizations, extensions, configurations, and integrations and oversee design, development, testing, and change management. This position works alongside Salesforce Administrators and other business analysts in the Information Systems team. Accordingly, you will help drive highly visible Salesforce initiatives across the organization including building applications and supporting integrations with Salesforce.
Regular tasks include:
- Assist in the implementation process for current and upcoming Salesforce systems
- Support existing applications in configuration, provisioning, troubleshooting and integrations
- Implement and maintain Salesforce customizations such as custom fields and objects, layouts, workflows, process builder, and validation rules
- Assist with the planning of application changes, development, and installation of upgrades, new releases, and enhancements.
- Work cross-functionally with IT, Marketing, Credit, Commercial Sales, and other key stakeholders
- Build customized solutions that support business requirements and drive important business decisions by developing in Visualforce, Apex, Java, and AJAX
- Develop custom applications using Salesforce. com and integrating salesforce.com with other systems
- Apply best practices and design patterns of best-of-breed applications developed on the Salesforce. com platform
- Create and execute unit, integration, and user acceptance test plans, including use cases and test data
- Gather, analyze and document functional and technical requirements for new projects, enhancements to existing solutions and production issues reported by end users
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in administration and/or development of Salesforce’s ecosystem.
- Strong attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Superior analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- In depth knowledge of REST/SOAP APIs and experience building integrations with Salesforce ecosystem.
- Experience in customization, configuration and development with JavaScript.
- Experience in migrating data and customizations across Salesforce environments.
- Knowledge of software development processes and best practices.
- Apex and Visualforce development, design, configuration, testing and deployment of Salesforce solutions.
- Knowledge of Salesforce permissions, roles, reports, dashboards, and logical formulas.
- Proficiency with Salesforce development including modification of standard objects and fields and creation of custom objects and fields.
Preferred qualifications include:
- Experience in Apex Data loader, Workbench, MavensMate, SoapUI and/or similar tools.
- Prior experience with data migration and ETL/integration tools.
- Experience with Marketo, HubSpot, Punchh, Zuora & similar applications a strong plus.
- Platform Development Certification.
- ITIL Foundation Certification.
Work schedule: Monday through Friday, daytime hours with occasional evening and weekend work as needed.
