Floating Cashier

Kwik Stop is looking for a reliable, flexible, and customer-focused Floating Cashier to join our team. This is a full-time position offering 40 hours per week for an individual who is willing and able to work at any of our 9 Kwik Stop locations and any shift, based on the needs of the business.

The Floating Cashier plays an important role in helping us maintain excellent customer service and smooth store operations. The ideal candidate is dependable, adaptable, comfortable working independently, and willing to travel between locations as needed.

Mileage reimbursement is provided for travel between Kwik Stop locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate the cash register accurately and efficiently.
• Handle cash, credit/debit card transactions, and other forms of payment.
• Follow proper cash-handling and register procedures.
• Provide friendly, professional, and helpful customer service.
• Greet customers and assist them with questions or requests.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming store environment.
• Stock and replenish coolers, shelves, displays, and other merchandise.
• Check product dates and rotate merchandise as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of sales floors, checkout areas, coolers, and other store areas.
• Assist with receiving, organizing, and putting away deliveries.
• Maintain appropriate product levels throughout the store.
• Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
• Assist with lottery, tobacco, beverage, food, and other convenience-store transactions as permitted and required.
• Perform basic cleaning and other general store duties.
• Work at different Kwik Stop locations and cover different shifts as business needs require.
• Assist coworkers and management in maintaining efficient day-to-day store operations.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Position Requirements

• Must be available to work full-time, 40 hours per week.
• Must have open availability Monday through Sunday.
• Must be willing to work any shift, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.
• Must be willing to work at any of Kwik Stop's 9 locations.
• Must have reliable transportation and the ability to travel between locations as needed.
• Must be dependable, punctual, and willing to adapt to changing schedules and locations.
• Strong customer-service and communication skills.
• Ability to accurately handle cash and operate a register.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform routine physical duties associated with working in a convenience store.
• Ability to lift, carry, and stock merchandise as required.
• Previous cashier or convenience-store experience is a plus, but training can be provided to the right candidate.
