Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Receiving and Shipping Associate to join our team. This role involves managing incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accurate inventory handling, and supporting warehouse operations. The position offers a multi-shift schedule, including early morning and evening shifts. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity, with the potential for full-time employment based on performance and ability to complete assigned duties efficiently.
Duties
- Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against purchase orders, and inspect for damages or discrepancies.
- Prepare outgoing shipments by packing products securely and labeling accurately.
- Maintain organized records of all received and shipped items.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks safely and efficiently.
- Assist with inventory management, including stock rotation and cycle counting.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and company policies during all warehouse activities.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily shipping and receiving goals.
- Support additional warehouse tasks as needed to ensure smooth operations.
Skills
- Strong attention to detail to accurately verify shipments and maintain records.
- Ability to work effectively across multiple shifts, including early mornings and evenings.
