Duties
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment, including hydraulics, HVAC/R systems, and high-voltage electrical components.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools such as ammeters, ohmmeters, and precision measuring instruments.
- Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to document work orders, track maintenance history, and schedule future tasks.
- Conduct field service repairs on machinery and equipment across the facility, ensuring minimal disruption to production schedules.
- Operate scissor lifts and other industrial equipment safely to access elevated or hard-to-reach areas for maintenance or inspections.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards related to low voltage, high voltage, HVAC/R systems, and other industrial electrical components.
- Support customer service efforts by providing technical assistance to internal teams or external clients when required.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in industrial mechanic roles within a manufacturing facility environment.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, HVAC/R systems, electrical circuits (including high voltage), and schematics interpretation.
- Hands-on experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), industrial electrician work, and troubleshooting control systems.
- Familiarity with CMMS software for maintenance management.
- Ability to use precision measuring instruments such as ammeters, ohmmeters, calipers, and micrometers effectively.
- Knowledge of industrial safety protocols related to low voltage/high voltage systems; experience working with high-voltage equipment is a plus.
- Excellent analysis skills for diagnosing complex issues quickly and accurately.
- Ability to operate scissor lifts safely; valid certification preferred.
- Strong communication skills in English; ability to read technical schematics fluently.
