We are seeking a highly experienced Shop Service Manager to oversee the daily operations of our automotive service department. Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations of the shop, including scheduling, workflow, and quality control.
- Lead, train, and motivate mechanics, service advisors, and support staff to meet performance goals.
- Monitor service sales, technician productivity, and customer satisfaction.
- Drive revenue growth by promoting preventive maintenance, upselling additional services, and implementing sales strategies.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
- Resolve escalated customer concerns and ensure a high level of repeat business.
- Coordinate with parts, sales, and administrative departments to streamline shop operations.
- Prepare reports, budgets, and forecasts for service and sales performance.
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 3 years in automotive service/shop management with proven leadership and sales success.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong background in automotive repair, diagnostics, and maintenance.
- Sales Ability: Demonstrated success in achieving or exceeding sales targets.
- Leadership: Strong team management, coaching, and motivational skills.
- Customer Service: Ability to build trust, resolve issues quickly, and ensure customer loyalty.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written skills to clearly communicate with staff and customers.
- Organization: Excellent problem-solving, multitasking, and shop management skills.
- Education: Degree/diploma in Automotive Technology, Business, or related field preferred.
