Duties
- Lead and supervise daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth workflow and excellent customer service.
- Oversee food preparation processes, maintaining high standards of quality and presentation.
- Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order processing and cash handling.
- Control inventory levels, monitor stock rotation, and coordinate food ordering to minimize waste.
- Train and develop staff through effective onboarding, ongoing training, and performance evaluations.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and uphold sanitation standards across the kitchen and dining areas.
- Handle shift management by scheduling staff efficiently to meet business demands during peak hours.
- Assist with budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting to support profitable operations.
- Foster a positive team environment that encourages collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Support catering events, banquet functions, or special hospitality occasions as needed.
Skills
- Extensive experience in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management.
- Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for sales transactions and reporting.
- Strong background in restaurant management within quick service or fast-food environments; casual or fine dining experience is a plus.
- Proven ability to supervise staff effectively through interviewing, training & development initiatives.
- Expertise in inventory control, food safety practices, and food handling procedures.
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to resolve issues promptly and professionally.
- Leadership qualities that inspire teams; experience in managing shifts, budgets, and operational workflows.
- Knowledge of hospitality industry standards including catering, bar service, coffee & barista experience preferred.
- Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail across all areas of food service management.
