Position Purpose

• The Restaurant Server has the responsibility for the restaurant’s front-end operations to serve the customer while maintaining a personal appearance suitable to all clientele.
• Position Description - Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities
• Reports to work in proper uniform as required by the company.
• Submits a Federal 4070 Form each month summarizing tip revenue.
• Serves the customers in the following order:
• Greets all customers promptly and politely while seating them.
• Takes the customer’s beverage order and delivers the order.
• Takes the customer’s food order, suggestive selling daily specials, or other items.
• Delivers the customer’s food order promptly after preparation is complete.
• Asks the customer if dessert is desired before delivering the check.
• Buses the table after the customer has left.
• Maintain sufficient knowledge of the menu, including specials.
• Assist in dishing out food items such as salads, side dishes, and desserts.
• Learn to operate the precheck ordering system.
• Performs all cleaning duties as assigned.
• Cheerfully handle difficult situations or disgruntled customers.
• Perform additional duties that may be assigned.
• Remain current on all new food service programs.
• Present or reinforce an image that will not be detrimental to Kwik Fill’s name.
