Implementation Manager (Head of Deployment) Role Overview:
The Implementation Manager will lead the team responsible for the "Final Mile" of our internal ERP and POS SaaS rollout. This is a mid-level leadership role focused on transitioning restaurant clients from legacy systems to our proprietary platform with zero business interruption.
Education Requirements:
● Required: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year university.
● Preferred Fields: Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Information Systems, or Project Management.
● Alternative: Candidates with 8 years of relevant industry leadership experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Key Responsibilities:
● Project Governance: Develop and iterate the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for large-scale ERP deployments across full-service and quick-service restaurant environments.
● Business Logic Alignment: Collaborate with Department Leaders to ensure the ERP configuration aligns with complex restaurant workflows (KDS, inventory, table management, and labor cost tracking).
● Payment Integration Oversight: Manage the end-to-end setup of credit card processing, ensuring compliance with PCI-DSS and seamless integration of EMV/NFC hardware and payment gateways.
● Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary liaison between client executives, internal Product Managers, and CEO to resolve conflicts regarding customization versus out-of-the-box functionality.
● Team Leadership: Hire, mentor, and manage a team of Implementation Specialists, ensuring project timelines are met and "Go-Live" success rates remain above 98%.
Requirements:
● 5 years of experience in ERP or POS SaaS implementation, with at least 2 years in a management role.
● Deep domain expertise in Restaurant Operations and Merchant Service/Payment Processing.
● Proven ability to manage high-stakes projects using tools like Jira, Asana, or Smartsheet.
● Strong analytical skills: Must be able to audit financial data migration for accuracy. PMP Certification is a plus.
