Position Description Overview

Bring your Landoll driving and equipment hauling experience to Kwest Group and help keep our heavy civil construction projects moving. As a Landoll Driver, you’ll load, secure, transport, and unload equipment at job sites. You’ll inspect your truck and trailer daily, keep them clean, maintained, and stocked, and perform minor repairs as needed. You’ll also coordinate deliveries with field teams, report delays or equipment concerns, and accurately record delivery time and work performed.

You’ll need a valid Class A CDL and at least five years of Landoll tractor-trailer driving experience, including one year hauling construction equipment. You must be comfortable operating construction equipment for loading and unloading. You'll have a clear understanding of DOT requirements and safe work practices, including proper lifting. At our 100% employee-owned company, every delivery supports our success. You’ll help achieve zero harm through safe hauling practices, do it right the first time through reliable deliveries and equipment care, and build strong relationships by treating everyone with dignity and respect. Your work reduces downtime and keeps our crews ready to build.

Expect a 45–55-hour workweek, including evenings and weekends as needed. Out-of-town assignments may require up to three weeks away from home at a time.

Working Conditions & Physical Demands

  • Work on active construction sites with exposure to dust, noise, heat, cold, and rain.
  • Frequently bend, squat, kneel, and perform repetitive movements; stand and walk safely on uneven, muddy, or icy terrain.
  • Lift and carry up to 50 pounds for distances of 30 feet or more, and regularly push and pull tools and materials.
  • Hear and see sufficiently to perform assigned duties, with hearing devices or corrective lenses as needed, including seeing at least 30 feet and distinguishing colors.
  • Wear required personal protective equipment and a respirator when necessary. Kwest provides required PPE, except safety boots.
  • Complete OSHA 30 and First Aid/CPR requirements before starting work.
  • Meet the position’s physical demands through a pre-employment physical examination.
