Title: Foundations Program AnalystJob Location: Washington, DCSecurity Clearance Required: Active, in-scope DoD-issued SecretPosition OverviewKwaan Bear IT Solutions is looking for a cleared Foundations Program Analyst to join our team in Washington, DC.Job ResponsibilitiesConduct research on the theory and practice of public diplomacy, draft, revise, and maintain up-to-date research findings in accessible and useful ways for practitioners and develop and deliver technical and professional support to field practitioners in the area of public diplomacy.Conduct research on the theory and practice of public diplomacy, including (but not limited to) qualitative textual research of primary and secondary sources, semi-structured interviews and focus groups, and field observations.Conduct background research, literature reviews, and desk reviews.Communicate with colleagues, management, and other contacts outside the Department to gather and analyze information about public diplomacy programs.Synthesize research findings in written products (e.g., reports, letters, website text, and other documents) suitable for public diplomacy practitioners in the field and in Washington.Edit for accuracy, clarity, and precision the written products of other team members.Solicit and incorporate feedback on written products from a variety of stakeholders and sources, inside and outside of the work unit.Work as part of a team to design and publish research products and supplemental materials related to research output.Contribute to the development of training modules, courses, and facilitated learning for public diplomacy practitioners.Regularly present content from PD Foundations to public diplomacy practitioners, academics, and other interested parties through both formal and informal presentations.Minimum QualificationsDemonstrated experience in writing and editing documents for government audiences.Demonstrated experience in writing and editing documents for professional audiences.Demonstrated experience in collaborative document drafting and editing processes.Demonstrated experience in managing feedback from multiple high-level stakeholders.Demonstrated experience developing teaching and training materials for practitioners and adult learners is preferred.Demonstrated experience in teaching and training practitioners and adult learners is preferred.Ability to design and deliver effective, engaging learning opportunitiesSkill in strategic and operational planning, organizing, directing and conducting complex studies and projects.EducationBA required, MA preferred in relevant field (including international relations, political science, history, English or composition, foreign language, social science, etc.) Kwaan Bear IT Solutions, LLC (KBITS) is an Equal Opportunity Employer and Prohibits Discrimination and Harassment of Any Kind. Salary : $115,000 - $125,000
