What are the responsibilities and job description for the Class A CDL Driver position at KW Plastics Recycling Division?
KW Plastics is looking to fill a CDL driver position. This position consists of transporting product to designated areas both on and off KWP property in the surrounding area.
TYPICAL DUTIES:
· Spotting and moving trailer and tankers
· Properly place trailers/tankers in assigned locations (loaded/unloaded)
· Weigh trailers/tankers
· Operate forklift as needed
· Accurately complete required paperwork
· Identify and transport trailers/tankers to and from various locations
· Inventory trailers/tankers on KWP yard
· Report safety hazards/concerns to Supervisor/Management
· Inform Supervisor/Management of any damaged or broken material/equipment
· Utilize radio system for communication
· General housekeeping of work area
· Additional duties as assigned
REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:
· Excellent time management skills
· Ability to follow instructions and complete assignments
· Able to work in various work environments (inside/outside)
· Proper use of various equipment and job related tools
· Prolonged periods of walking, standing, bending, stretching, pushing, pulling, climbing, or kneeling
· Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:
· Ability to pass the company forklift certification (written & hands on)
· Understand and follow all company policies and procedures
· Valid I.D.
· Class A CDL
· WST driver training
· Must pass pre-employment medical screening
