What are the responsibilities and job description for the KWR Tanker Hole position at KW Plastics & KW Plastics Recycling Division?
TYPICAL DUTIES:
- Load and unload bulk plastic materials into tanker trucks following established procedures
- Verify tanker cleanliness, product type and documentation prior to loading
- Connect and disconnect hoses, valves and fittings safely and correctly
- Monitor loading operations to prevent spills, overfills or contamination
- Collect samples and perform basic quality checks as required
- Complete loading tickets, logs and required documentation accurately
- Communicate with drivers and supervisors as needed
- Maintain a clean, organized and safe tanker hole area
- Follow all safety, environmental and DOT-related procedures
- Respond appropriately to spills, alarms or emergency situations
- General housekeeping
- Additional duties as assigned.
REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:
- Able to work in various work environments (inside/outside)
- Proper use of various equipment and job-related tools
- Prolonged periods of walking, standing, bending, stretching, pushing, pulling, climbing or kneeling
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time
