We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Residential Window and Door Installation Contractor to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and replacing residential windows and doors with precision and professionalism. As an independent contractor, you will be responsible for your own taxes and business expenses.

Duties

• Measure and interpret construction plans, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation of windows and doors.
• Use hand tools and power tools to install window frames, door jambs, trim carpentry, and fixture installations.
• Perform heavy lifting of glass materials, window units, doors, and related components safely and efficiently.
• Apply caulking and trim carpentry techniques to achieve a finished look that meets quality standards.
• Fabricate or modify window and door components as needed based on measurements or custom specifications.
• Conduct quality control measurements to verify proper fit, function, and finish of installed products.
• Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools, materials, and debris throughout the project lifecycle.

Experience

• Proven experience in residential construction or remodeling projects with a focus on window and door installation.
• Skilled in using hand tools such as saws, drills, levels, caulk guns, measuring tapes, and other essential power tools.
• Experience with fabrication or manufacturing processes related to windows or doors is preferred.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during installation tasks.
• Knowledge of construction estimating practices is a plus for understanding project scope and resource needs.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently or as part of a team on construction sites with safety compliance.
• Handyman experience or general remodeling skills are advantageous for supporting diverse project needs.
