GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION
The Digital Marketing Specialist primary focus is on the planning and execution of all digital marketing efforts related to company’s business-to-business (B2B) and business-to-consumer (B2C) channels. This role also involves non-digital duties as they align with overall company branding messaging of sales and marketing initiatives.

MAJOR DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Deliver and coordinate the communications calendar for B2B and B2C businesses that includes trade shows, social media, newsletter release dates, and other market events/activities.
  • Planning, executing, and tracking of marketing programs such as email, event, social media, and content marketing.
  • Independently coordinate marketing and events, including overseeing logistics, managing registrations, coordinating with vendors, creating itineraries, and creating and ordering marketing collateral.
  • Create and edit copy product listings on company and 3rd party websites ensuring consistent copy, pricing, and messaging
  • Create and edit copy for various marketing channels, ensuring consistent voice and brand messaging.
  • Develop and manage content and social media marketing programs, including blogs and public relations efforts.
  • Evaluate and monitor campaign performance on an ongoing basis by analyzing key metrics and creating comprehensive reports with special emphasis on ROI.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors to ensure high-quality and timely execution of marketing programs, and to ensure competitiveness.
  • Communicate campaign deliverables, objectives, and timelines to management and internal team.
  • Assist in planning and managing trade shows, events, and other meetings with management and internal team by identifying, coordinating, and assembling requirements, developing assignments and schedules and aligning branding across all efforts.
  • Maintain an inventory and directory of sales support materials making sure all resources are accurate and current while coordinating new material creation as needed.
  • Conduct market research to identify customer trends, competitor offerings and demographic data.
  • Perform keyword research in coordination with business objectives to optimize existing content and uncover new opportunities
  • Monitor and evaluate search results and search performance across the major search engines.
  • Conduct Keyword analysis and implement them on our website (Shopify)
  • Work on google ads, retargeting ads and PPC when aplicable.
  • Monitor and administer web analytics dashboards, reports, and key reporting tools, and point out key areas of importance.
  • Update, post, and engage on all active online platforms. (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and website

  • Engage with wholesalers currently selling our products in their stores on social and run cross- promotional content and initiatives.
  • Develop, maintain and update company library of social media posts, videos and other advertising content.
  • Manage social media paid ads to increase company online presence and brand awareness.

  • Pull reports for media spend and performance, track against benchmarks and KPIs, and implement or make recommendations for optimization.
  • Launch new social media channels when timing permits and is justified.
  • Prepare online newsletters and promotional emails and organize their distribution through various channels.
  • Keep the email marketing database up to date and create new lists as opportunities come along.
  • Monitor eBlast delivery rate, open rate, and click-thru rate through A/B testing.
  • Work with management on marketing budget and spend with special focus on ROI.
  • Accountable for timley execution of marketing campaigns, product launches, accuracy and consistency of brand messaging, and overall ROI of marketing spend.

QUALIFICATIONS for the JOB

  • Excellent understanding of digital marketing concepts and best practices.
  • Proficiency with Google Ads, SEO/SEM, and email marketing.
  • Knowledge of Google Analytics.
  • Strong graphic design skills to create visually appealing digital assets.
  • Excellent copywriting skills to create compelling content that drives engagement and conversions.
  • Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) for website maintenance and updates.
  • Experience in e-commerce platforms and strategies for driving online sales, Shopify experience a plus.
  • Understanding of performance marketing metrics and ability to optimize campaigns for maximum

ROI.

  • Strong research skills to gather insights on target audiences, industry trends, and competitor analysis.
  • Proficient in social media management tools for scheduling posts, monitoring engagement, and analyzing metrics, such as Asana, a plus.
  • Experience social media content creator, with best practice knowledge for Facebook, Instagram,

YouTube, LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.

  • Ability to prioritize and stay organized.
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills.
  • Graphic design experience and knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (2 years required)
  • Minimum of 2 years of working experience in digital marketing (required)
  • Overall working experience of 2 years working in Marketing (required)

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business/Marketing (completed or in progress)
  • Relevant certifications or experience in lieu of formal education

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour
