What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part Time Teller position at KV Federal Credit Union?
This is an exciting opportunity to become part of the KVFCU team and have a flexible schedule being a part-time employee.
JOB SUMMARY
A person in this position will be responsible for providing account services to members by receiving deposits, loan payments, cashing checks, issuing account withdrawals, as well as mail and night drop deposits. Additionally, this person will be responsible for cross-selling products to new and existing members.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist members with processing transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, payments, resolving complaints or account discrepancies and answering account questions
Informing members of credit union products and services
Maintaining and balancing cash drawers and reconciling discrepancies
Handling currency, transactions and confidential information in a responsible manner
Maintain knowledge of State and Federal Credit Union regulations
Adhere to branch policy, security and operation requirements
EDCUATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Basic math and computer skills
Must be willing to work a flexible schedule Monday through Friday
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Prior bank or credit union experience preferred
Cash handling experience preferred
