Responsibilities
- Assist with framing, trim carpentry, door hanging, and fixture installation to support project progress
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently under supervision
- Read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to understand project requirements
- Prepare materials for fabrication, including cutting, measuring, and assembling components
- Support concrete forming, masonry work, roofing, siding, and metal stud framing tasks as needed
- Perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks to ensure timely project completion
- Maintain a clean and organized work site while adhering to safety protocols at all times
Experience
- Basic knowledge of carpentry tools, materials, and techniques
- Prior experience on construction sites preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates
- Ability to follow direction of Project Leader
- Basic understanding of construction
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical labor safely in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail to ensure precision in measurements and cuts
- Strong work ethic with a willingness to learn new skills and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Valid Driver's License
