Job Summary
A Dishwasher is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen by washing dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment. They help keep the kitchen organized, ensure supplies are available for food preparation and service, and assist with basic cleaning duties to support the kitchen team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Wash dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
- Operate and maintain dishwashing machines.
- Keep kitchen, dishwashing, and storage areas clean and sanitary.
- Remove trash and recycling and maintain waste disposal areas.
- Restock clean dishes and kitchen supplies.
- Assist with basic food preparation and other kitchen tasks as needed.
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.
Qualifications:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to cleanliness and organization.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Team-oriented with a positive attitude.
- Previous kitchen or dishwashing experience is preferred but not always required.
