JOB SUMMARY
Kutak Rock LLP seeks an Associate to join its Litigation practice in our Little Rock office. Ideal candidates will have litigation experience and interest in financial services, debtor-creditor, collection, and bankruptcy and will have the desire and skills to manage cases independently.

QUALIFICATIONS: Skills and Abilities
- Proficient in legal research methods
- Clear, cogent, and organized writing style and strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to manage and organize workload independently while maintaining communication with partners and staff members
- Experience with litigation strategy, drafting, discovery and hearings
- Willingness to handle all aspects of complex civil litigation matters, including client communications
- Ability and confidence to work independently while thriving in a collaborative, team environment
- Ability to work professionally and respectfully with partners, associates, and support staff
- Ability to collaborate with attorneys in other offices
- Commitment to interacting directly with and achieving the goals of firm clients
QUALIFICATIONS: Education and Experience
- Degree (J.D., LL.M., etc.) from an accredited law school in the United States required, with preference given to those with strong academic credentials, judicial clerkship, or law review experience
- Admitted to practice in either Arkansas with an active bar license in good standing or able to be admitted within one year of hire
- 1 years of experience in civil litigation required with experience in financial services, bankruptcy, debtor-creditor, collections, or commercial litigation matters preferred
Position Information
Status: Exempt
Salary Range: $105,000-$120,000 base salary, commensurate with experience
