We are seeking a dynamic and talented Hair Stylist, Nail Technician, Braider, or Barber to join our vibrant salon team. We are looking for someone to Rent a Personal Suite in our shop. Responsibilities
- Provide expert hair styling, coloring, extensions, and treatments using current techniques and industry best practices
- Perform professional nail care services including manicures, pedicures, nail art, and enhancements
- Execute precise braiding styles, hair threading, eyelash extensions, and makeup application to meet client preferences
- Conduct barbering services such as straight razor shaves, fades, and classic cuts with attention to detail
- Maintain a clean and sanitized work environment adhering to all sanitation standards and regulations
- Utilize salon software like MINDBODY for appointment scheduling, client records management, and retail sales tracking
- Engage with clients through excellent communication skills to understand their needs and recommend appropriate services or products
- Upsell retail products such as hair extensions, styling tools, skincare items, and nail care products to enhance client satisfaction and store revenue
- Assist with front desk duties including greeting clients, managing appointments, and handling payments efficiently
- Mentor junior team members by sharing techniques in hair styling, color theory, retail math, and customer service excellence
Qualifications
- Valid cosmetology or barbering license; additional certifications in nail care or eyelash extensions are a plus
- Proven experience in hair styling, coloring (including hair extensions), nail care, or barbering with a strong portfolio of work
- Knowledge of salon software systems like MINDBODY for scheduling and retail management
- Strong understanding of sanitation standards and best practices in beauty services
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse clients and team members
- Ability to perform detailed work such as hair threading or straight razor shaves with precision
- Passion for ongoing learning about current trends in hair styling, color theory, makeup application, and retail sales techniques
