Chief Nursing Officer (CNO)Overview
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) to lead nursing and patient care operations across our healthcare services. The CNO will ensure high-quality, compassionate care while driving clinical excellence, regulatory compliance, operational efficiency, and staff development.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead nursing operations across assisted living, long-term care, hospice, home health, and hospital services.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, Medicare, MDS, and applicable healthcare regulations.
- Oversee clinical quality, patient safety, resident rights, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Lead and develop nursing management teams through effective communication and performance management.
- Manage nursing budgets, staffing, resources, and operational efficiency.
- Develop and implement policies supporting safe, compliant, and patient-centered care.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve clinical outcomes and service delivery.
- Stay current with healthcare trends, regulations, and best practices.
Qualifications
- Active RN license or higher-level healthcare credential.
- Proven leadership experience in nursing administration or healthcare management.
- Strong knowledge of clinical operations, medical records, MDS, Medicare reimbursement, and HIPAA compliance.
- Experience managing teams, budgets, staffing, and quality improvement programs.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and strategic management skills.
- Hospice, palliative care, home health, or long-term care experience is preferred.
