Background:
The 21 st CCLC program is recruiting paraprofessionals to work in the after-school program. The program
provides after school enrichment and academic support to eligible students. It focuses on improving
student achievement through experiential learning and community-service learning. Examples of activities
include, but are not limited to, music, robotics, culinary arts, art, theater, and physical fitness.
The program will run from September 30, 2024 - May 29, 2025. The program runs for two hours starting
at the end of the school day, Mondays-Thursdays.
Position: Paraprofessional
Responsibilities: Including but not limited to:
Assisting with implementation of program
Assisting students with homework and activities Serving as bus monitor where needed
Salary: $21.19/hour
Reports to: Site Coordinator and/or Program Director
Contingent upon Fall River School Committee approval and the availability of
funds
Preference will be given to paraprofessionals currently working in the program or who have experience in
after school programs.
