JOB SUMMARY

The Inventory Specialist will be responsible for conducting inventory logistics necessary to support the supply chain of all cannabis goods for Kush Groove. The role will involve key inventory functions and be responsible for providing strategic insight and feedback to our leadership team. We are looking for a people-oriented team member with solid operational experience and the motivation to reach new career heights. Here you’ll have the gratification of joining a fast-growing team, as well as a rapidly expanding supply chain operation. In this high-profile role you'll collaborate closely with all vertically integrated departments. The role requires significant analytical skills and judgment, elevated attention to detail and organizational skills.

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Uphold strict adherence to state regulations regarding the sale of Cannabis products
  • Maintain compliance by adhering to all Kush Groove policies, safety, rules, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Ensure all products meet the required state standards before they are made available for purchase
  • Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly inventory audits verifying Metrc data mirrors integrated POS system.
  • Quality check and investigate product variances quality, packaging, labeling, or pricing concerns. Keep proper documentation procedures and report findings to the General Manager.
  • Receive and inspect incoming deliveries, verifying accuracy against Metrc and invoices while ensuring proper documentation is retrieved and stored properly
  • Ensure proper data entry for products in Metrc and integrated Pos and e-commerce systems. Stay up to date with photos and product description.
  • Conduct efficient stock rotation practices to maintain stock levels and minimize product expiration and waste.
  • Exercise independent judgment, analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Maintain the organization and overall cleanliness of the department and product storage areas
  • Follow all hygiene and sanitation guidelines
  • Contribute to a positive work environment conducive to trust and respect.
  • Use discretion with sensitive and confidential security and business information.

  • Proficiency in G Suite, Microsoft Office Suite.

REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in inventory/supply chain management.
  • Minimum of 1 year working in the cannabis industry is highly required.
  • Experience with METRC is highly desirable.
  • Experience working in services or pharmaceutical experience is highly desirable.
  • Action-oriented and solution driven with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working in retail and customer service experience is highly desirable.
  • Must be authorized to live and work in the U.S.
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • Must speak/read/write English proficiently.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Reach and twist/turn with hands and arms
  • Climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
  • Frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds
  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
  • Vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to focus

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

  • Starting at $20 per hour based on experience, plus benefits.
