The White Earth Indian Health Service (Client) continues to improve its healthcare delivery model. Physical Therapist – Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and provide rehabilitation services in accordance with his/her credentialed privileges. Types of disabilities may include, but are not limited to, post-stroke, head injury, arthritis, burns, cardiac conditions, polio, muscular dystrophy, cerebral palsy, muscle or bone disorders, including strains, sprains, post-fractures, bursitis, and scoliosis, post-surgical, and both acute and chronic pain patients.
- Develop and teach an appropriate plan of care involving the patient and family in developing goals and objectives.
- Provide therapy treatments with periodic evaluations of the program to determine the patient's status and the effectiveness of the treatment regimen.
- Document in the patient's electronic health record regarding progress while consulting with referring physicians regarding the progress of their patients.
Physical Therapist – Qualifications:
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
- Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program in the United States.
- Must have an active Physical Therapy license within the 50 states with no restrictions.
- Must possess and provide documentation of continuing education.
- Must have a current BLS certification.
