Role Overview

The starting pay rate for this position is $20.50 per hour, with final compensation depending on relevant skills and experience, which may exceed the posted rate for highly qualified candidates. Roles assigned to Night Shift (2^nd or 3^rd) schedules are eligible for an additional hourly pay differential added on top of the standard base wage.

Join our production team as a Mixing Operator and become a key player in creating our high-quality products. You'll be responsible for the entire mixing process, from setting up and operating the equipment to ensuring quality control and performing basic maintenance.

• Strict adherence to all safety procedures for handling flammable solvents is essential.
• Set up and operate coating machines for production schedules and job specifications. 
• Load and unload materials, ensuring proper feeding and alignment through the machine.
• Must adhere to detailed written instructions for handling flammable solvents, resins, and solid chemicals. (Respirator required)
• Monitor machine operation, adjusting settings for factors like speed, temperature, and coating thickness as needed. 
• Perform changeovers, including carts and Cylinder prep, roll changes, and material transfers (forklift, pallet jack, dolly).
• Perform basic cleaning and preventive maintenance tasks on coating equipment. 
• Conduct quality control checks on coated materials, adhering to established standards and procedures.
• Maintain accurate production parameters and complete necessary paperwork. 
• Maintain communication with other departments.
• Other duties as required.

Shift Information & Work Schedules

• Day Shift (2-2-3 Schedule): 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Night Shift (2-2-3 Schedule): 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Experience and Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Basic and intermediate math skills.
• Forklift Certified
• Mixing Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Familiarity with SAP/Microsoft Office.
