Full Job Description
Kurtis Chevrolet is in need of a Full-Time Automotive Title Clerk for our Accounting Office. We are seeking a friendly, goal-oriented individual with a positive attitude to fill this open position immediately.
Responsibilities:
- Process all new and used vehicles for registration in the appropriate state.
- Prepare tax and title documents.
- Submit all appropriate documents to the Department of Motor Vehicles.
- Maintain a system to verify out-of-state titles.
- Compile and maintain a complete list of all outstanding title work.
- Prepare titles for wholesalers.
- Submit all F&I product premiums on timely basis
- Handle all F&I product cancellations
- Maintain assigned accounting schedules and reconcile assigned general ledger accounts
- Processing state title and registration applications
- Resolve titling issues as necessary
- Confirm all information on titles, odometers, and lien releases
- Communicate the county clerk’s office on related issues
- Perform other duties as requested
Required Qualifications and Skills:
* Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
* Must be self-motivated and have the ability to work in a team environment
* Possess excellent verbal communication skills
* Valid driver's license and clean driving record
* Clean criminal background

- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
- Automotive: 1 year (Preferred)
- Title processing: 1 year (Required)
License/Certification:
- Driver's License (Required)
