Kurth has an open position as a full-time Estimator/Sales at our Chippewa Falls office. We are looking for an individual with industry and/or estimating experience.
Duties
- Selling HVAC systems in whole or part to potential residential and commercial clients. This includes scheduling customer appointments, fielding complaints and attending various tradeshows.
- Calculating cost for installing HVAC systems and quoting installed costs to potential/current customers. This includes drafting various types of proposals and communicating with customers.
- Project coordination with various members of the team (sheet metal workers, installers, and technicians) on WIP and scheduling.
- Designing layouts for various structures which include duct designs, system layout, pipe sizing (gas and vents), completion of accurate load calculations on new and existing structures; and attention to detail on ventilation requirements.
- Review job inventory list and cost out equipment. Special order materials and keep track of equipment records of incoming inventory for major jobs periodically.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma/GED
- Driver’s License
- Associates degree in HVAC (5 years of experience in lieu of a degree)
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in HVAC installation
Preferred Qualifications
- 2 years of experience in HVAC estimating
- 2 years of experience with commercial and industrial HVAC projects
