Job Summary:As a Shipping & Receiving Technician, you will manage shipping and receiving functions for the Manufacturing Division and support Material Control Technician duties. This includes handling domestic and international shipments, receiving materials, and performing general warehouse tasks like picking and putting away parts.Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate shipping and receiving for production material needsShip domestic and international orders (intercompany, vendor, and customer)Pick and pack sales and production orders according to work instructionsEnsure proper packaging for safe and economical shipment (including double boxing and palletizing)Process shipments through systems such as UPS, FedEx, and customer SAP portalsSchedules, orders, receive materials and post packing slips and related data into the ERP systemPerform general warehouse duties: picking parts, put-away, organizing inventory, cycle counts, and maintaining stock rotationKeep work areas clean and organized; maintain safety standardsCollaborate with employees and departments to resolve shipping and packaging issuesFollow all departmental work instructionsPerform other duties as assignedQualifications:RequiredHigh School education or equivalentFamiliar with Computer Skills (i.e.: Outlook, Microsoft Office, etc)Ability to physically perform the job including climbing, lifting, bending, kneeling, etc.Ability to collaborate and work well within a team environmentWillingness to motivate and support othersAbility to perform within a changing workload and/or priorities while meeting order schedules with quality results Ability to bend, stoop, squat, twist and lift up to and including 30lbs. unassisted. Assistance must be used for any items over this weight.
