The Materials Operations Intern at Kurt J. Lesker Company will support the Materials Division by assisting with material identification, inventory organization, and recycling preparation activities. - Use XRF equipment to positively identify materials
- Sort and batch materials by metal family
- Develop and maintain detailed material inventory lists
- Coordinate with Procurement to identify and source recycling partners
- Prepare materials for shipment, recycling, or disposal
- Support multiple projects simultaneously as priorities shift
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Currently enrolled in a technical, science, or engineering-related college program
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Prior work experience (internship, co-op, or part-time experience acceptable)
- Exposure to materials science or related coursework
