Job Description:
Kurious Active Learning Community is looking for a caring, energetic, and proactive Infant Assistant Teacher to support our lead teacher in the infants (Cubs) classroom. This role is perfect for someone who loves babies, is enthusiastic about early childhood development, and wants to grow in a nurturing, safe, and engaging environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the lead teacher in daily classroom activities and routines
- Support feeding, diapering, and nap schedules
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom
- Observe and support children’s developmental needs
- Communicate respectfully with team members and families
- Follow all daycare policies and state licensing requirements
Qualifications:
- Must be 16 years old
- Energetic, proactive, and loves working with babies
- Experience with infants preferred but not required
- Patient, responsible, and attentive to detail
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Must pass a background check
- Willingness to complete on-the-job training
