Position Overview
Kuri Products is seeking a Cross-Functional Operations Specialist to support our rapidly growing business. This entry-level to early-career role is ideal for someone who is excited to wear many hats, tackle new challenges, and grow with the company. You will work closely under the Vice President, with frequent exposure to the CEO & Founder, and contribute across multiple areas of the business, including administrative, technical, commercial, operational, business development, and marketing tasks. This is a unique opportunity to learn directly from industry experts and gain hands-on experience in cosmetic science, raw materials, formulation, new product development, sales operations, and startup entrepreneurship. No prior experience is required, but curiosity, passion, and willingness to learn are essential.
Key Responsibilities
Cross-Functional Support
- Assist with day-to-day operations including administrative tasks, scheduling, documentation, and data organization
- Support commercial activities such as preparing product information, customer follow-ups, lead tracking, and CRM updates
- Assist with marketing activities including content preparation, sample coordination, social media support, trade show prep, and outreach
- Support R&D and technical functions by helping gather raw material data, organize formulations, prepare technical sheets, and assist during training sessions
- Participate in quality-related tasks such as document control, supplier information tracking, and compliance organization
- Contribute to business development activities including market research, supplier coordination, and partnership preparation
- Help improve internal processes, SOPs, and operational efficiency within the organization
- Attend industry trainings, meetings, supplier presentations, and trade shows when needed
- Perform general office support and any cross-functional tasks required to keep the startup operating smoothly
Qualifications
Education (Preferred, not required)
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Chemical Engineering, Cosmetic Science, Business, or related field
Experience
- 0–3 years of experience in cosmetics, chemicals, beauty, R&D, operations, marketing, sales support, or a related field
- Internship or lab/industry experience is a plus
