Industrial Fabric Sewing Technician
Full-Time Monday–Friday
Glen Burnie & Baltimore Locations
For nearly 40 years, Kuranda has manufactured premium dog and cat beds used by shelters, rescues, veterinarians, boarding facilities, and pet owners across North America.
This is more than an industrial sewing machine operator job. Team members use computers, scanners, shipping software, and computerized manufacturing equipment every day. WHAT YOU'LL DO
✓ Sew and manufacture premium dog and cat beds using industrial sewing equipment
✓ Operate computerized production equipment
✓ Read and process digital work orders
✓ Use scanners, touchscreens, and shipping software
✓ Verify inventory, labels, and customer orders
✓ Package and prepare products for shipment
✓ Maintain quality standards and workplace safety
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
✓ Experience operating industrial sewing machines
✓ Ability to sew straight, consistent seams with attention to quality
✓ Proficient with basic computer skills, including data entry and navigating software programs
✓ Comfortable learning and using computers and technology throughout the workday
✓ Strong attention to detail and accuracy
✓ Dependable attendance
✓ Positive attitude and willingness to learn and work with others
✓ Manufacturing, warehouse, shipping, or production experience is helpful but not required
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
✓ Standing, walking, and climbing throughout the workday
✓ Frequent lifting of 25–50 lbs
✓ Occasional lifting of 50–70 lbs
