Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Production Operator to join our pharmaceutical manufacturing team. In this role, you will support day-to-day production operations including material handling, packaging, palletizing, and sanitation activities in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and batch record requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
Product Handling & Preparation
- Pull and organize the correct product pallets from the WIP (Work in Progress) storage area.
- Transfer product boxes into the hopper and properly dispose of liners following GMP standards.
- Ensure no unwrapped or nonconforming products enter the production line.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and contamination-free workspace at all times.
- Perform cleaning and sanitization of work areas and equipment during changeovers according to batch record instructions.
Packaging & Labeling
- Verify that all packaging materials (boxes, labels, and bags) match the product batch record.
- Accurately pack the specified quantity of product per batch record instructions.
- Inspect products for defects and ensure only approved items are packed for shipment.
- Move completed boxes through the tape machine for palletizing.
- Keep packaging and inspection areas clean, organized, and free of excess material.
Palletizing & Storage
- Stack sealed boxes on pallets in the correct configuration as defined in the batch record.
- Maintain order and cleanliness in the palletizing area during production.
- Move completed pallets to the finished goods area for wrapping and proper storage.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required.
- Experience: 1–3 months of experience in pharmaceutical, food, or manufacturing environments preferred.
- Skills:
- Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
- Ability to read, understand, and follow written instructions and batch records.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality and safety.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Work Environment
- Fast-paced pharmaceutical production facility adhering to strict safety and GMP standards.
- Exposure to moving mechanical equipment, moderate noise, and controlled substances under regulated conditions.
- Occasional exposure to cleaning agents or sanitizing chemicals (PPE provided).
