POSITION SUMMARY
Promote the sale of fluid power, automation, and control products, services and solutions to existing and new customers.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Conduct meetings, phone calls and other communication with current and prospective customers to solicit business orders.
- Recommend products, services and solutions to customers based upon need and interest.
- Answer questions about products, services and solutions.
- Prepare a yearly territory/sales plan and review progress as required.
- Facilitate customer training on products.
- Investigate and resolve customer complaints.
- Prepare quotations/proposals to meet specific customer needs.
- Assist accounts receivable with credit collections, as required.
- Oversee delivery and/or installation of products and services with customers.
- Attend regular vendor trainings to gain higher understanding of new and existing products.
- Work with vendor representatives in the promotion and sale of vendor products.
- Support the Kundinger Quality Control process through compliance with the Quality Management requirements, customer focus and continual improvement.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS – SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent; degree in related field preferred
Experience: 2 years of industrial sales experience preferred
Computer Skills: MS Office 365
Skills taught after hire as needed: Product Training, Technical Seminars Training, Sales Techniques and Territory Management, Epicor Profit21 (Computer System) Training, CRM System, MS Office 365, ISO Training, Workplace Safety Training
Other Requirements: Valid driver’s license, must be insurable with an acceptable motor vehicle record
