Controller

Kunau Implement, a leading Eastern Iowa dealer for Case IH, New Holland, Kubota, and Cub Cadet, is seeking a high-energy, self-motivated Controller. The ideal candidate is positive, collaborative, and thrives in a fast-paced, family-owned environment.

The Controller will oversee all financial and accounting operations, including reporting, budgeting, internal controls, cost analysis, and regulatory compliance. This role partners with leadership to provide strategic insights that drive profitability and operational efficiency.

This position will based in Preston, IA for training, with the option to work from either the Preston or DeWitt, IA location.

Requirements:

• Solid knowledge of accounting standards, corporate taxation, internal controls, and cash management
• Strong analytical and financial reporting skills (balance sheets, P&L, forecasting)
• Excellent communication skills to work with leadership and key management
• High attention to detail and ability to spot/report inaccuracies
• Proficiency with financial software and dealership systems (DIS or similar)
• Proven project management and team leadership abilities
• Familiarity with relevant tax and industry financial regulations.

Education & Experience:

• 3 years of accounting or financial management experience (dealership background a plus)
• Degree in Finance or Accounting
• Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills
• Knowledge of tax compliance and accounting standards; DIS or similar system experience is a plus
