What are the responsibilities and job description for the Class Assistant position at Kumon?
Looking for individuals who are interested to help and enrich students. Individuals who are accountable, responsible, and reliable. This position is a part-time position that will consist of being an assistant in a classroom.
Responsibilities include (may not be all at once or complete list here) :
* Grading
* Preparing class work
* Assisting students in work (when necessary)
* Teaching early learners
Training will be provided.
Requirements:
*At least a high school diploma and/or experience within this work field
* Working hours Tuesday-Frideay (3:30 pm - 7:00 pm). Starting and ending time are flexible and can be discussed based on availability.
*Flexible T/TH or W/FRI or3:30 pm-7:00pm
* Need to be accountable, responsible, and reliable with timing and duties.
* Willing to learn new teaching techniques where applicable
* High-level Math ability is an advantage (optional)
Hours will be about 4 - 16 hours a week, more hours may be available as needed
Applicants will need to go through a zoom virtual meeting interview.
*For a successful candidate a two-week paid orientation period will be given before confirming the position
