Learning Center Aide

Overview
The Kumon Center at Fort Mill Avery Plaza is seeking a responsible, detail-oriented, and friendly individual to join our team as a Center Aide. This role supports the daily operations of the learning center, working closely with students, parents, and instructors to ensure an organized, positive, and productive environment. This position offers an opportunity to make a significant impact in the lives of students while fostering their academic and personal growth.

Responsibilities

• Assist with student check-in and check-out procedures
• Guide students through their Kumon assignments as needed
• Grade and record student worksheets accurately and efficiently
• Maintain a clean and organized learning environment
• Support instructors with administrative tasks and classroom management
• Provide excellent customer service to students and parents
• Assist lead teachers in implementing curriculum and lesson plans tailored to the needs of each student.

Requirements

• Must be available Monday through Thursday from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
• Must have a valid North Carolina driver’s license
• Must have a dependable vehicle for reliable transportation
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently
• Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
• Previous experience working with students in a preschool or private school setting is an asset.
• Ability to effectively communicate and build rapport with students, parents, and staff.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $11.00 - $14.00 per hour
