Kumon Center Assistant - Adult Only

Job Overview
The Kumon Math and Reading Center of Aldie – Stone Ridge is seeking an energetic and organized individual who loves children to assist the Instructor in running our Kumon center. The ideal candidate will have a passion for education, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work well with young students. As a Kumon Center Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the daily operations of the center and ensuring a positive learning environment for our students.

Responsibilities

• Assist with grading worksheets and providing students with constructive feedback.
• Support students with basic questions about their assignments and guide them through the Kumon method.
• Manage student flow within the center to maintain an organized and productive environment.
• Prepare and organize instructional materials for each class session.
• Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling, data entry, and maintaining student records.
• Assist parents with Kumon-related questions, when necessary
• Perform other tasks related to Kumon per manager requests

Qualifications

• High school diploma or higher (current college students welcome).
• Strong math and reading skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience working with children in an educational setting is preferred.
• Attention to detail and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to commit to the scheduled work hours.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
