What are the responsibilities and job description for the Container Mover position at KUMI MANUFACTURING AL LLC?
POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for moving product from production areas to assigned addresses within storage locations; responsible for maintaining inventory through electronic scan process for all containers and maintain organized finished goods warehouse.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Move product with a forklift from the production areas
- Perform electronic scan of parts to ensure container traceability
- Maintain accurate inventory by proper electronic scanning and part address organization
- Support with all finished goods warehousing and inventory activities
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ability to stand, climb ladder, lift 35 pounds, bending and stooping
- Satisfactory work record, including attendance
- Willingness to work overtime during the week and weekends when needed
- High degree of attention and care required to prevent injury to self and others
- Ability to work in fast paced environment independently within time constraints
- Must possess a valid KMA forklift license
