Fleet Manager

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Oversee and manage all, day-to-day driver and service-related activities and functions for assigned geographical /terminal driver locations including but not limited to, daily planning, and dispatch and dispatch of customer orders, ensuring that all orders are dispatched and requested delivery windows are met
• Manager the day-to-day issues, regarding service, equipment management (in conjunction with Region Manager), driver-related issues, and service deviations
• Works with Central Planning Operations Manager/Senior Fleet Manager to analyze and provide solutions for chronic problems within operation, including performance to customer expectations, efficiency concerns, and driver performance
• Able to navigate Solar’s TMW dispatching software as well as multiple screens to utilize Email, customer websites, and dispatching software
• Ability to work a 12-hour shift including weekends
• Additional responsibilities as assigned 
• Adheres to all company policies and procedures 

Qualifications:  Education  

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred 

Qualifications:  Experience  

• 1 yrs. experience in a Fleet Manager position at a logistics company preferred
• Experience in the transportation industry preferred
• Previous managerial experience preferred

• Proven ability to effectively prioritize and balance competing needs

Duties and responsibilities, as required by business necessity may be added, deleted, or changed at any time at the discretion of management, formally or informally, either verbally or in writing.  Scheduling and shift assignments and work location may be changed at any time, as required by business necessity.   Compensation & Benefits Pay Range: 50K - 62K/yearly  The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Maverik/Kum&Go considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
