This role is based in the North Dakota market, with a Monday–Friday schedule. The District Manager spends about four days in stores and one day working from home for planning and reporting. Position Summary & Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

Pay Range: $87,500-$97,500 DOE and Bonus Opportunities The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Maverik considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers, such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills, and current market conditions. The District Manager leads a group of Store Directors, focusing on operational excellence, people development, and financial performance.
- Coach and mentor Store Directors to drive accountability, leadership growth, and engagement.
- Oversee daily operations and ensure compliance with Maverik standards, policies, and safety requirements.
- Analyze P&L results and operational metrics to identify performance opportunities.
- Partner with Food Service teams to improve product quality, waste control, and profitability.
- Implement company initiatives and business plans across all stores in the district.
- Conduct regular store visits and quarterly off-cycle shifts for visibility into all operations.
- 5 years of retail management experience with progressive responsibility, including multi-unit oversight.
- Strong leadership and coaching ability with proven success developing teams and improving performance.
- Operational expertise in areas like inventory, foodservice, waste control, and customer experience.
- Financial acumen with experience managing budgets and analyzing P&L results.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, able to manage tough conversations confidently.

- Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field.
- Previous convenience store or foodservice leadership experience.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
