Job Title: Quality Technician IV

FLSA Status: Exempt

Salary: $66,600 - $76,000

Reports to: Quality Assurance Director

Location: Onsite.

KULR Technology Location: Webster, Texas

Travel: 10% travel or “Travel required as necessary


Position Overview:

The Quality Technician IV is responsible for leading quality control activities and conducting detailed inspections and tests on products and processes to ensure compliance with quality standards. This role involves advanced quality control techniques, data analysis, and collaboration with production teams to enhance product quality. Responsibilities of this position includes Hands-on tasks such as measuring product dimensions, documenting findings, and performing routine quality assessments.


Functions:

  • Conduct thorough quality assessments on incoming materials and outgoing products to ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Measure product dimensions, examine functionality, and compare the final product to specifications and standards
  • Maintain detailed records of inspections, tests, and quality issues
  • Ensure that all products and processes comply with company standards, customer requirements and AS9100 requirements.
  • Investigate customer complaints and non-conformance issues and develop solutions to prevent recurrence.
  • Maintain and facilitate calibration requirements of all measuring and testing equipment
  • Work closely with engineering, production and management teams to address quality concerns and implement corrective actions.
  • Provide training to production staff on quality control procedures
  • Support site Quality Leadership in completing Internal audits, corrective actions, developing control plans and processes to improve quality.

Requirements:

  • Education & Experience:
  • High School or associate degree and experience in battery pack testing and assembly
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality control. Experience in Battery industry preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs):

  • Experience within Battery industry preferred.
  • Quality inspection experience with AS9100.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence others, build effective relationships with both internal and external stakeholders to accomplish business objectives.

OFFICE WORK ENVIRONMENT
