We are seeking a highly motivated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) with a passion for fitness, strength training, performance, and orthopedic rehabilitation to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Aid Physical Therapist with assessing patients functional baselines such as, range of motion, strength, mobility, and gait.
- Collaborate with physical therapists in creation of treatment plans and exercise programs tailored to individual patient needs.
- Provide unwavering support, empathy, and understanding to all patients.
- Administer therapeutic interventions and modalities to alleviate pain, improve mobility, and restore function.
- Educate patients on their conditions, treatment options, and home exercise programs.
- Assist with up to date record keeping of progress notes, discharge notes and other relevant documentation when due.
- Consider the patient's overall well-being, addressing not only physical but also emotional and psychological aspects.
- Stay current with the latest advances in physical therapy and evidence-based practices.
- Communicate weekly with Physical Therapists about patient progress and goals.
Experience
- Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant
- New graduates welcome
Qualifications
- Valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA).
- CPR certification.
- Strong clinical and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent communication and patient education abilities.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Prior experience in outpatient physical therapy is a plus but not required.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $28.00 - $40.00 per hour
