What are the responsibilities and job description for the Yard Technician / Shop Laborer position at Kujo, Inc.?
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Yard / Shop Laborer to support daily operations. This role involves a variety of responsibilities including material handling, general shop duties, and equipment operation. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, safety-conscious, and willing to learn. Training will be provided for the right individual.
Key Responsibilities:
- Load and unload trucks in a safe and efficient manner
- Perform general shop duties, including cleaning and organizing work areas
- Stock, sort, and manage various materials and inventory
- Assist with yard organization and upkeep
- Operate equipment such as forklifts and skid steers (training available if needed)
- Support team members and supervisors with additional tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
- Mechanical aptitude or experience working with tools and equipment preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically active environment
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Forklift and/or skid steer experience preferred, but not required (training provided)
- CDL Class A license preferred, but not required
