Construction Project Coordinator / Engineer
Job Description:
The Project Coordinator / Engineer supports the Project Manager on projects. The Project Coordinator / Engineer will assist in coordinating, scheduling, and tracking to ensure the materials, equipment, & information necessary to complete the job are delivered on time per plans & specifications.
Responsibilities:
- Observe and Operate by the Kugel Corporation Core Values
- Observe and Perform the Kugel Worker's Code
- Fully reviews drawings & specifications in preparation for project
- Solicit estimates for projects as needed adn track estimate process
- Track/manage subcontractor compliance - L&I, insurance certificates, master contracts, etc
- Issue contracts, scope of work, PO's and change orders to subcontractors/vendors
- Request submittals from subcontractors and suppliers
- Track and Update - Project Schedule, Long-lead items, RFI Log, Submittal Log, Change Order Logs, etc
- Track correspondence including daily reports, safety reports, project meeting notes, etc
- Assist in tracking equipment time and equipment location
- Assist in coding for invoices and mathing to purchase orders and subcontracts
- Assist in monthly billing and tracking job costs
- Issue and track vendor lien releases as needed
- Track and update project schedule
- Prepare project close out documents for clients
- Electronically file all project related documents
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Project Coordinator in commercial construction projects is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and manage competing priorities effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to interact professionally with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Excel, Word, Project, PowerPoint).
- Basic knowledge of construction processes, terminology, and building codes is an advantage.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in managing project documentation.
- Degree in Construction Management preferred, High School, GED or equivalency.

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
